Blue and White

Snow White was the reason I chose those colors—so I could feel like a princess and live a happily ever after like all the other princesses who get a happy ending. It carries special meaning because it reminds me of all my childhood memories, like all my old friends, my old school, and so many great memories from my past life.

This brought me joy in creating it because of my thoughts of being famous. The thing that was challenging was the fact that I had to find out that it was going to be in this gallery, but there is nothing I can do about that. Something that I loved about Gio Swaby’s portraits was that they had so much meaning to them. Something that made me proud was that I was able to make it so quickly. I made this portrait because of Snow White—because I wanted to feel like a princess with a happily ever after, just not with a prince, which is why it is a love letter to me.
